Custom Perforated Panels Help Client Solve Air Flow Issues
Recently, our company received a request for help from a client who needed to replace the original air flow panel on their machine but couldn't find a suitable supplier. The client provided detailed drawings and photos, specifying a special perforated stainless steel 304 panel. According to the provided images, the hole shape was similar to our company's fish scale holes but not exactly the same, with protrusions on both sides and high flatness requirements for the finished product.
Challenges and Solutions
Upon accepting the order, we immediately started designing and adjusting the mold. Given the high hardness of stainless steel 304, every step of the manufacturing process required special attention. After three rounds of mold adjustments, we finally met the client's required hole size standards.
However, the flatness of the finished product became a new challenge. The initial production resulted in panels with significant bending, which clearly did not meet the client's installation requirements. To ensure high-quality finished products, we utilized professional leveling machines to process the panels, successfully reducing the flatness deviation to a minimum.
Client Feedback and New Product Development
When the client received the air flow panels we produced, they were able to install them on their machine smoothly with excellent results. The client highly praised our customization capabilities and high-quality products.
This success story not only helped the client solve their practical problem but also promoted progress in our company's new product development. We can now produce this special perforated air flow panel, offering services to more clients with similar needs.
