During installation, the protective coatings on the steel wires can get damaged from bumps and wear, reducing the gabions' effectiveness against corrosion. This significantly limits their performance and shortens their lifespan.

Product Developing

Our company teamed up with Shandong University to form an innovative industry-academia-research team. The team includes 2 professors, 3 associate professors, and over 10 graduate students.

 

Together, we used 3D modeling technology to design the structure of tensile composite gabions. Using finite element simulation technology, we made high-precision predictions and optimizations for the forming process. The prototype production was carried out with a composite material tensile forming test machine developed by our team. We conducted comprehensive tests on the product using various composite material mechanical performance testing methods. This collaboration allowed us to solve a series of key technical issues in mesh panel production, product assembly, and performance enhancement. Ultimately, we successfully developed this new product-GEOGRID GABION
