Large numbers of the Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) members and customers are attending Packaging Innovations 2025, taking place 12-13 February 2025.
Martin Kersh, executive director, FPA, said a large number of FPA members and their customers are expected to attend the exhibition.
The show will include:
16 FPA members will be exhibiting in the Foodservice Packaging Zone
A dedicated FPA stand at D36 will provide advice on Extended Producer Responsibility as well as bring updates on the FPA’s programme
Alan Campbell of the LCA Centre, specialists in analysing packaging forensically, will be on hand at the FPA stand for 1:1 surgeries on how you can fully verify packaging claims.
On day 1, Martin Kersh will be chairing the Big Debate at 4pm, featuring two panels of industry leaders going head to head on the controversial subject of whether reuse and refill can overtake single use within 10 years.
On day 2, the FPA’s AGM will take place at 9:15am (Piazza Suite 1) – attendees can learn more about what the FPA is up to, and meet fellow members
Extended Producer Responsibility will be featured strongly on the Circular Economy Stage. On Wednesday, Pack UK, representing packaging producers in the EPR framework, will be officially launched, with a panel including Defra Director, Emma Bourne.
Defra will also have a clinic at the event, offering one-to-one advice on compliance, data reporting, costs, and future developments.
Also on day 2, Defra Minister, Mary Creagh leads a key industry panel of EPR experts.
“This is truly a superb trade show, which now has a greater foodservice packaging presence than ever before,” said Kersh. “Expect to bump in to FPA members, retail and trade customers and suppliers. Expect to be able to learn more about the new regulations and expect to have a thoroughly worthwhile and productive day or two.”
