1、 Material characteristics of galvanized screw rods
Galvanized screw rods are generally processed from materials such as carbon structural steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. It refers to the formation of a zinc layer on the surface of steel through processes such as hot-dip or electroplating on the surface of the screw, which gives the steel good anti-corrosion and wear-resistant properties.

The characteristic of galvanized screw rods is that they have a non corrosive galvanized layer on their surface, which can prevent rust and extend the service life of the screw. In addition, galvanized screw rods have good wear resistance, which can reduce wear and damage and improve usage efficiency.

2、 Galvanizing process
The galvanizing process is generally divided into two types: hot-dip galvanizing and electroplating.

(1) Hot dip galvanizing: First, the surface of the steel is cleaned, and then the steel is immersed in molten zinc solution for galvanizing. The hot-dip galvanized layer is thicker and has strong corrosion resistance, making it suitable for screws used in humid and corrosive environments.

(2) Electroplating: Clean, acid wash, and pre electroplating the surface of steel, then immerse the steel in an electrolyte containing zinc salts for galvanizing. The galvanized layer of electroplating is relatively thin and has relatively poor rust resistance, but it can produce a more beautiful appearance and is suitable for occasions that require appearance effects, such as furniture manufacturing.
