The Yangtze River Shield Tunneling Project of the China-Russia East Line is a tunnel with a horizontal length of about 10.226 kilometers, the deepest buried depth of which is more than 60 meters from the river surface, and the inner diameter is 6.8 meters, making it the longest, deepest, largest in diameter, and the most complex oil and gas pipeline tunnel crossing the Yangtze River by shield tunneling in the world of oil and gas fields.

The Yangtze River Shield Tunneling Project is a key control project of the China-Russia East Line natural gas pipeline, which started construction in July 2020 and completed the tunnel on December 4, 2022, and began pipeline installation. It is expected to be put into operation before the end of this year.
