Chinese and US hold talks from May 7 to 16 to on Enhancing Cooperation to Address the Climate Crisis

At the request of the Chinese and US sides, Special Representative for Climate Change of China Liu Zhenmin will lead a delegation to the US from May 7 to 16 to hold talks with President's Senior Advisor for International Climate Policy Todd Stern.

At the request of the Chinese and US sides, Special Representative for Climate Change of China Liu Zhenmin will lead a delegation to the US from May 7 to 16 to hold talks with President's Senior Advisor for International Climate Policy Todd Stern.

Both sides will exchange in-depth views on issues of common consensus, such as the Sunnylands Statement on Enhancing Cooperation to Address the Climate Crisis, and work together to achieve practical outcomes in bilateral climate cooperation guided by the consensus reached by the two heads of state. Liu Zhenmin's special envoy will also engage in exchanges with relevant UN entities, as well as local governments and think tanks in the US on issues related to climate change.
